Promotes and ensures continuity in the quality of Pulmonary Function testing.</p><p><strong>KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE:</strong> 2-3 years of experience in Pulmonary Function Testing to include Quality control measures. Maintains current BLS. Will obtain a BLS card with in 6 months of enployment if BLS not current.</p><p><strong>EDUCATION:</strong> Certified Respiratory Therapist or Registered Respiratory Therapist credentialed with the National Board of Respiratory Care.</p><p><strong>LICENSE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY:</strong> Current license with the State of Montana as a Respiratory Care Practitioner. Registered Pulmonary Therapist preferred.</p><p><strong>APTITUDES:</strong> *Demonstrate ability to effectively and creatively solve problems without immediate supervision. *Demonstrated ability to plan and use time wisely. *Demonstrate ability to effectively communicate with patients/families who may be under physical and emotional stress. *Gather and exchange information effectively with nursing personnel, physicians, and customers. *Ability to enter data accurately using the computer.
