As a core technical contributor, you are responsible for conducting critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm’s business objectives.</span></p><p><span><strong>Job responsibilities:</strong></span></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li><span>Regularly provides technical guidance and direction to support the business and its technical teams, contractors, and vendors</span></li><li><span>Develops secure and high-quality production code, and reviews and debugs code written by others</span></li><li>Leads team adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering practices and SDLC/TLM automation to improve delivery speed, quality, and operational outcomes, while setting expectations for human validation, secure handling of inputs/outputs, and consistent use of reusable patterns across teams. &nbsp;</li><li>Applies knowledge of tools within the Software Development Life Cycle toolchain, including enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development and automation capabilities, to improve the value realized by automation and support capacity unlock initiatives.</li><li><span>Drives decisions that influence the product design, application functionality, and technical operations and processes</span></li><li><span>Serves as a function-wide subject matter expert in one or more areas of focus</span></li><li><span>Actively contributes to the engineering community as an advocate of firmwide frameworks, tools, and practices of the Software Development Life Cycle</span></li><li><span>Influences peers and project decision-makers to consider the use and application of leading-edge technologies</span></li><li><span>Adds to the team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect</span></li></ul><p><span>&nbsp;</span></p><p><span><strong>Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills</strong></span></p><ul><li><p style=\"margin-bottom: 0in; margin-right: 0in; margin-top: 0in;\"><span>Bachelors or Masters Degree in Computer Science or equivalent</span></p></li><li><p style=\"margin-bottom: 0in; margin-right: 0in; margin-top: 0in;\"><span>Minimum 10 years of hands-on Java/SpringBoot/Kafka/Flink/AWS/EKS environment that demonstrates exceptional design, coding, testing and debugging skills</span></p></li><li><span>Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability</span></li><li>Experience leading responsible adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development and delivery tools across engineering teams, including defining ways of working (review/validation expectations), measuring outcomes, and ensuring secure handling of data.</li><li><span>Advanced in one or more programming language(s) and framework(s) (i.e., Java, Spring framework, Kafka Streams, Flink, Data Lake &amp; Low Latency stores)</span></li><li><span>Proficiency in automation and continuous delivery methods</span></li><li>Understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows, including data sensitivity considerations, resiliency/security implications, and governance expectations; ability to coach engineers on compliant and effective usage.</li><li><span>Ability to tackle design and functionality problems independently with little to no oversight</span></li><li><span>Proficient in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle</span></li><li><span>Advanced understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security</span></li><li><span>Demonstrated proficiency in software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.)</span></li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><span><strong>Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:</strong></span></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li><span>Apache Flink, Kafka and Confluent Cloud</span></li><li><span>Experience working with Petabyte scale environments and streaming billions of events per day</span></li><li><span>Advanced knowledge AWS and EKS.</span></li></ul>",
