They are an optimistic and energetic bunch, vigilant about ensuring we have an attractive, functioning, safe and well-maintained hotel to delight our guests. They work diligently to keep all our spaces in good repair by performing various tasks related to a variety of trades including but not limited to carpentry, plumbing, electrical, air conditioning/ heating, painting, wall covering and masonry, all while continually seeking opportunities for energy efficiency. We offer a Competitive Salary, Free Shift Meals, Employee Golf and Fitness area, as well as Affordable Housing, Referral Bonus Program, Medical/Dental/Vision/Life/ AD&amp;D, 401K (match) and much, much more!</p><p><br></p><p><strong>WHAT YOU GET TO DO</strong>:</p><p>· Greets customers, speaks politely, and assists customers with requests while maintaining confidentiality.&nbsp;</p><p>· Responds to guest inquiries and requests and resolves issues in a timely, friendly and efficient manner.</p><p>· Responds swiftly and effectively to every emergency situation that may arise.</p><p>· Conducts and documents regular preventive maintenance to protect every aspect of Shore Lodge property.&nbsp;</p><p>· Ensures the interior and exterior of the hotel is well maintained and meets the expectation of Shore Lodge guests</p><p>· Maintains all rooms and common areas by ensuring all furniture, appliances and electrical equipment such as televisions, refrigerators, and light fixtures are in working order.&nbsp;</p><p>· Repairs or replaces all Boiler, Refrigeration, HVAC systems/units as needed, all electrical, plumbing, carpentry, repair work, construction and renovation&nbsp;</p><p>· Ensures all paint and flooring meet company standards.&nbsp;</p><p>· Cleans and maintains the hotel's exterior such as swimming pools, jacuzzi and spa.&nbsp;</p><p>· Keeps the work area and mechanical/engineering shop safe, organized and clean.</p><p>· Maintains legible and orderly records and reports major repair needs to the Chief Engineer for repair.&nbsp;</p><p>· Maintains a safe facility and uses safety first practices to remain accident-free.</p><p>· Completes Preventive Maintenance on guest rooms</p><p>· Performs regular pool/spa maintenance including cleaning, backwashing, cleaning tile, and chemicals</p><p>· Perform repairs on equipment, appliances and fixtures</p><p>· Complete assignment sheets/check lists daily</p><p>· Verbal and written communication to Supervisors and co-workers</p><p>· Furniture and equipment lifting and moving</p><p><br></p>",
