This role is located in Pune.</span></p>\n<p><span>In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:&nbsp;</span></p>\n<ul>\n <li><span>As a development lead, will be responsible to</span>\n  <ul>\n   <li><span>Build, design, Trading Channels, Messaging Channels interfacing with other venues and exchanges using industry standard protocols</span></li>\n   <li><span>Operate mission-critical systems and deliver day-to-day enhancements across front office and Operations</span></li>\n   <li><span>Provide technical oversight around major Fixed Income E-Commerce Project</span></li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li><span>Design and develop core components in Java</span></li>\n <li><span>Create and implement system testing procedures</span></li>\n <li><span>Collaborate and work with other teams in a platform operating model</span></li>\n <li><span>Analyze and support vendor software</span></li>\n <li><span>Stakeholder management</span></li>\n <li><span>Project Prioritization</span></li>\n <li><span>Delivery &amp; Maintenance for the applications within Equities domain</span></li>\n <li><span>Provide second level support</span></li>\n <li><span>Usage of AI tools like Gitlab/Windsurf/ Co-Pilot</span></li>\n <li><span>Develop Unit Test Cases with a view to integration into CI/CD pipeline</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p><span>To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:&nbsp;</span></p>\n<ul>\n <li><span>Bachelor's or higher degree in computer science/ engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required</span></li>\n <li><span>10+ years of experience in software development required</span></li>\n <li><span>Strong proficiency with Java, SQL and Git</span></li>\n <li><span>Very good understanding of industry standard trading protocols like FIX, FpML</span></li>\n <li><span>Proficiency with Data Standards &amp; Data Modelling</span></li>\n <li><span>Proficiency with text-based formats like XML &amp; JSON</span></li>\n <li><span>Strong Proficiency with messaging frameworks – MQ / Kafka</span></li>\n <li><span>Proficiency with Spring, Spring Boot, Spring Integration</span></li>\n <li><span>Familiarity with testing patterns and dev ops</span></li>\n <li><span>Familiarity with cloud / containerization</span></li>\n <li><span>Comfortable in Windows and Linux environments</span></li>\n <li><span>Strong Knowledge around Fixed Income Products and Associated Electronic Workflows</span></li>\n <li><span>Experience in the securities or financial services industry with focus on Fixed Income Products – Treasuries, Corporate Bonds, Agencies, Commercial Paper, Mortgages.</span></li>\n <li><span>Hands-on experience and working knowledge of Order Management Systems, Smart Order Routers, Market Data Aggregator</span></li>\n <li><span>Previous experience designing and implementing new systems and features independently</span></li>\n <li><span>Developed market data feeds and feeds to downstream systems</span></li>\n <li><span>Understanding of trade life cycle events for fixed income</span></li>\n <li><span>Understanding of regulatory landscape from a developer perspective</span></li>\n <li><br><span>At BNY, our culture speaks for itself, check out the latest BNY news at:</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><a href=\"https://www.bny.com/corporate/global/en/about-us/newsroom.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\"><span>BNY Newsroom</span></a></p>\n<p><a href=\"https://www.linkedin.com/company/bnyglobal/posts/?feedView=all\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\"><span>BNY LinkedIn&nbsp;</span></a></p>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p><span>&nbsp;Here’s a few of our recent awards:&nbsp;</span></p>\n<ul>\n <li><span>America’s Most Innovative Companies, Fortune, 2025</span></li>\n <li><span>World’s Most Admired Companies, Fortune 2025</span></li>\n <li><span>“Most Just Companies”, Just Capital and CNBC, 2025</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><span>Our Benefits and Rewards:</span></p>\n<p><span>BNY offers highly competitive compensation, benefits, and wellbeing programs rooted in a strong culture of excellence and our pay-for-performance philosophy.
