The role will see you immersed in a team of .NET developers, interacting with other teams such as Architects, Product, QA and DBA to name just a few. You’ll perform hands-on development with our exciting technology stack and play a key part in the design and decision-making process. While the role is hands-on from a coding perspective, there’s also a strong emphasis on being involved with enhancing design, technical standards, improving the development process and the ongoing investigation around new technologies and practices.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Responsibilities &amp; Duties:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Building out web-scale applications and platforms using modern .NET technology</li>\n<li>Working with the latest platforms and tooling including VS2026/Resharper/Rider and .NET 4.8/.NET 8/.NET 10</li>\n<li>Being part of a highly effective team using Kanban methodologies</li>\n<li>Work with exciting Microsoft and Open-Source technologies (Redis, SQS/SNS, Kafka, Lamar/StructureMap, MongoDb and nHibernate)</li>\n<li>Participate in adoption of native AWS cloud technologies</li>\n<li>Slice monoliths into new microservices as Docker containers</li>\n<li>Be part of the whole lifecycle of a feature; from the idea to discussion with the business, delivery, release to production</li>\n<li>Belong to a team who are constantly thinking about efficiency through good practices</li>\n<li>Participate and be listened to in discussion about new features, refactor opportunities, team improvements, new techs etc.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Qualifications &amp; Experience: </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>At least 5 years commercial experience in a backend Software Developer role</li>\n<li>Strong testing focus, be able to write \"clean\" and \"well designed code\"</li>\n<li>Someone who is not afraid of challenging projects and is open to looking at new ways to resolve them</li>\n<li>Strong verbal and written communication</li>\n<li>Strong team player skills</li>\n<li>Experience with C#, ASP.NET Core Web API, SQL Server and Visual Studio</li>\n<li>Strong team player skills</li>\n<li>Knowledge on front end technologies, architecture design, microservices, design patterns, code refactoring, mocking frameworks and security</li>\n<li>Experience in best practices in application development; including Agile Development, Continuous Integration, Test Driven Development and SOLID principles</li>\n<li>Knowledge of modern technology concepts; best practices and patterns including API first development (REST) and HTTP technologies as well as messaging.</li>\n<li>Experience in microservices architecture, cloud providers and docker containers</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Ding’s recruitment privacy notice is available at <span><a href=\"https://www.ding.com/recruitment-privacy-notice\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">https://www.ding.com/recruitment-privacy-notice</a></span></p>",
