This position provides direct services, facilitates workshops, and supports participants in building skills that promote academic success, leadership, and positive decision-making.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Program Delivery</strong><ul type=\"circle\"><li>Coordinate and facilitate workshops aligned with program and grant goals.</li><li>Support curriculum development as needed.</li><li>Deliver programming focuses on leadership, conflict resolution, communication, teambuilding, social-emotional skills, self-esteem, and healthy lifestyles.</li></ul></li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Youth Advocacy &amp; Support</strong><ul type=\"circle\"><li>Develop and maintain positive relationships with participants, acting as an advocate for youth regarding school, community, interpersonal, and family issues.</li><li>Maintain accurate participant records, including daily case notes, progress notes, and attendance.</li></ul></li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Program Operations</strong><ul type=\"circle\"><li>Prepare and serve meals/snacks; ensure program spaces remain clean and organized.</li><li>Provide transportation to participants on an as-needed basis.</li><li>Help the program meet quality, scheduling, and budget requirements.</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned.</li></ul></li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Demonstrated Abilities</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Strong decision-making and conflict-resolution skills.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Effective written and verbal communication; able to demonstrate diplomacy and tact.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Dependable attendance and punctuality.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ability to lift and carry program supplies and donations regularly.</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Associate or Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Social Work, Education, Human Services, or related field preferred (equivalent life/work experience may be considered).</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Minimum of 1&ndash;3 years of experience working with youth engaged in high-risk activities (e.g., gangs, violence, drugs, truancy, sexual activity, or other high-risk environments).</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Experience with youth leadership training models, peer counseling, adolescent development, workshop planning, and facilitation strongly preferred.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Must possess a valid driver&rsquo;s license, a good driving record, and access to a personal vehicle.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Proficiency in basic computer software and data entry.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred.</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><br></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><br></p></div>\n",
