We also provide attractive working conditions and opportunities for career growth through professional development.</p>\n<p><strong>Discover why Cooper University Health Care is the employer of choice in South Jersey.</strong></p>\n<h2>Short Description</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Assists the Registered Nurse in providing direct, indirect and non-patient care responsibilities.</li>\n <li>Contributes to quality patient care by serving as a significant member of the multidisciplinary treatment team in providing therapeutic groups and activities, milieu counseling and management.</li>\n <li>Performs patient care observation rounds, 1:1 observation, environmental rounds, vital signs, control logs, glucose checks, specimen collections, treatment planning, patient education, visitor & meal monitoring, belongings and body checks and documentation as needed.</li>\n <li>Uses verbal de-escalation techniques to manage disruptive patient behaviors, in addition to limit-setting and physical restraint application as directed, and functions as a valuable member of the treatment team during a psychiatric code and Code Grey.</li>\n <li>Performs clerical functions to support the clinical operations of the unit.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Experience Required</h2>\n<p>Minimum of 2 years' experience in a mental health, forensic or addictions setting.</p>\n<h2>Education Requirements</h2>\n<p>Associate's Degree required, Bachelor's Degree preferred, in Psychology or related study.</p>\n<h2>License/Certification Requirements</h2>\n<p>AHA BLS required.</p>\n<h2>Special Requirements</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>CPI, Handle with Care, Aggression Management certification is preferred.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Shift Requirements \n  <ul>\n   <li>7PM-7AM</li>\n   <li>4 shifts every 6 weeks</li>\n   <li>3 weekend shifts, 1 weekday</li>\n   <li>1 major winter, 1 major summer, & 1 hallmark holiday</li>\n  </ul></li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Salary Min ($)</h2>USD $18.00\n<h2>Salary Max ($)</h2>USD $29.00",
