Description
Role As a Salesforce Administrator, you will hold the keys to success for users and the company, helping them get the most out of Salesforce. This role is essential within the Salesforce ecosystem and is often considered an entry-level position for individuals beginning their journey. With businesses increasingly relying on the Salesforce platform to manage customer relationships and improve operations, the demand for professional Salesforce Admins continues to grow. We are seeking a Salesforce Administrator to join our team, ensuring our organization fully leverages the benefits of this unique CRM system. You will be responsible for managing, customizing, and optimizing our Salesforce platform to ensure it runs smoothly and accurately, supporting daily business activities. Duties and responsibilities The Salesforce Administrator role centres around five core responsibilities: security, user management, data management, analytics, and product management. Ensure Smooth Salesforce Operations: Manage and customize the Salesforce platform. Ensure the system runs smoothly without any hassle and optimize company requirements. Regularly update and tailor Salesforce for better integration with other tools. Collaborate with the Information Systems team to ensure effective and efficient use of various Salesforce features and capabilities. Security: Set up processes to manage and protect customer and business data. Establish consistent security practices to build trust with customers and internal users. Collaborate with IT and security teams to ensure alignment with organizational compliance needs and policies. Configure the Salesforce Platform so users only see what they need to see. User Management: Ensure users have the capability to do their jobs in Salesforce. Manage all user and license administration aspects, including new user setup, deactivation, roles, profiles, permissions, and public groups. Control user access, set up workflows, and ensure secure data sharing for seamless collaboration. Generate user accounts and teach personnel how to use Salesforce products effectively. Provide continuous user training and generate training materials as required. Support team members and track user uptake of Salesforce tools within the organization. Resolve user support tickets. Data Management: Ensure Salesforce data is a trusted source of truth for the organization. Create reports and dashboards to manage user data. Ensure data accuracy to drive overall business growth. Inspect backup solutions, review and cleanse data, and run Optimizer monthly. Platform Management: Proactively implement and expand Salesforce functionality across the business Manage Salesforce like a product, continuously building on the platform, delivering new features to users, and driving a healthy environment. Prepare users for seasonal Salesforce Releases (Winter, Spring, and Summer) and proactively seek ways to expand functionality. Stay up to date with new features and bring innovation to stakeholders, ensuring immediate adoption of updates designed to improve user experiences. Track critical updates under Release Updates in Setup. Qualifications/Skills/Experience Previous experience as a Salesforce Administrator or in a similar role is preferred. Must have Salesforce certifications, such as Salesforce Certified Administrator or Salesforce Advanced Administrator. Extensive expertise in administering and maintaining Salesforce systems. Experience with Salesforce updates and practical integration. Exceptional ability to design and sustain Salesforce databases. Detailed understanding of Salesforce products and their features. An undergraduate degree in computer science or business management is preferred. Proven practical experience with Salesforce, ideally demonstrated through volunteer work, freelancing projects, or Trailhead platform badges. #LI-DM1
