    "requisitionDescription": "<div><p id=\"isPasted\"><strong>Production Scheduler</strong></p><p>Summary/Objective: The Production Scheduler is responsible for scheduling the production of all products produced at the plant communicating material and working cross functionally. &nbsp;This position monitors production needs, issues and progress. The role will be in constant communication with vendors.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Essential Functions</strong>&nbsp;</p><p>&bull; Effectively utilizes systems and established processes to determine the master production schedule for the plant with consideration of forecast, inventories, material availability and other factors. &nbsp;</p><p>&bull; Schedules and organizes production runs and change overs according to food safety and allergen requirements, people scheduling needs and to maintain efficiencies. &nbsp;</p><p>&bull; Regularly monitors progress of production and reviews factors that affect schedules; making necessary modifications.&nbsp;</p><p>&bull; Communicates to operations and cross functionally; schedule, changes, materials orders and other needs to support the operation of the plant.&nbsp;</p><p>&bull; Works with finance, sales and R&amp;D on trials, sales sample runs or other special projects.&nbsp;</p><p>&bull; Partners closely with procurement and quality teams to monitor and manage expiring ingredients and on hold items in an effective manner.&nbsp;</p><p>&bull; Contributes to written documentation of SOP and other critical processes.&nbsp;</p><p>&bull; Monitors inventories of materials and finished product; assists with the tempering process.&nbsp;</p><p>&bull; Adhere to all company policies and practices to help maintain a safe, food safe, efficient and respectful environment.&nbsp;</p><p>&bull; Collaboratively perform other duties as needed and directed to support the goals of the company.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Position Type/Expected Hours of Work&nbsp;</strong></p><p>This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Required Education and Experience</strong> &nbsp;</p><p>&bull; Minimum of 2 years&rsquo; experience in system-based scheduling in a food manufacturing environment; &nbsp;</p><p>&bull; High School Diploma or Equivalent; Associate&rsquo;s or Bachelor&rsquo;s degree and/or certifications in related field preferred.&nbsp;</p><p>&bull; Experience with ERP systems; or demonstrated ability to quickly build expertise in similar systems.&nbsp;</p><p>&bull; Excellent organizational skills, ability to prioritize multiple priorities&nbsp;</p><p>&bull; Strong attention to detail.&nbsp;</p><p>&bull; Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate (verbal/writing) effectively at all levels and with various stakeholders, internally and externally&nbsp;</p><p>&bull; Knowledge of Microsoft Suite with solid proficiency in Excel; &nbsp;</p><p>&bull; Effective math skills; ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide using units of weight and volume measurements&nbsp;</p><p>&bull; Knowledge of warehouse and inventory. &nbsp;</p><p>&bull; Positive attitude; cheer leader for our people, culture, company and brands&nbsp;</p><p><br></p></div>\n",
