This role leads all on-site construction activities from mobilization through commissioning, ensuring projects are built safely, on schedule, and in full compliance with contract documents and regulatory requirements.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This position requires deep, hands-on superintendent experience in <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">municipal water and wastewater infrastructure</span>, including coordination of <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and SCADA systems</span>. The ideal candidate is a strong field leader who can manage complex work in live systems, interact confidently with owners and inspectors, and drive crews to successful project completion.</p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Field Leadership &amp; Project Execution</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead and manage all day-to-day field construction activities for pump stations, wastewater treatment plants, and related public works facilities</li>\n<li>Plan, schedule, and sequence work to meet contract milestones and critical path requirements</li>\n<li>Direct and coordinate multiple foremen, crews, and subcontractors across civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation scopes</li>\n<li>Maintain constant jobsite presence and accountability for productivity, workmanship, and safety</li>\n<li>Identify constructability issues early and implement field-driven solutions</li>\n<li>Work closely with safety manager to enforce company safety policies and OSHA requirements with zero tolerance for unsafe work</li>\n<li>Set the safety standard on site through leadership and example</li>\n</ul>\n<p> <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Public Works &amp; Technical Oversight</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Oversee construction of:\n<ul>\n<li>Pump stations, lift stations, and force mains</li>\n<li>Wastewater treatment plant structures and processes (headworks, basins, clarifiers, piping, and structures)</li>\n<li>Mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation installations</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li>Coordinate work within active and existing facilities to minimize service interruptions</li>\n<li>Ensure compliance with municipal standards, specifications, and inspection requirements</li>\n<li>Interface directly with owners, engineers, inspectors, and regulatory representatives</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">SCADA, Controls &amp; Commissioning</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Coordinate installation, integration, and testing of SCADA systems, including PLCs, instrumentation, and communication networks </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Work closely with controls contractors, electricians, and owner IT/operations staff</li>\n<li>Verify proper installation and termination of instrumentation and control wiring</li>\n<li>Support factory acceptance testing (FAT), site acceptance testing (SAT), and system startup</li>\n<li>Lead commissioning, functional testing, and turnover activities</li>\n<li>Ensure SCADA documentation, O&amp;M manuals, and as-builts are complete and accurate</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Quality Control &amp; Documentation</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure all work meets contract documents, plans, specifications, and quality standards</li>\n<li>Coordinate inspections, testing, and approvals with engineers and inspectors</li>\n<li>Address non-conforming work immediately and drive corrective actions</li>\n<li>Maintain accurate daily reports, manpower logs, schedules, and field documentation</li>\n<li>Support punch list completion and final project closeout</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Manpower, Equipment &amp; Subcontractor Management</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage field staffing levels and equipment needs to meet project demands</li>\n<li>Supervise subcontractors and enforce schedule, safety, and quality expectations</li>\n<li>Coordinate deliveries, laydown areas, and site logistics</li>\n<li>Mentor foremen and field leaders; enforce company policies and performance standards</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Qualifications</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>High school diploma or GED required; technical or trade background strongly preferred</li>\n<li>10+ years of superintendent experience in public works construction</li>\n<li>Extensive experience with:\n<ul>\n<li>Pump stations and lift stations</li>\n<li>Wastewater treatment plants</li>\n<li>Municipal water and sewer infrastructure</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li>Proven experience coordinating SCADA, PLCs, instrumentation, and controls on water/wastewater projects</li>\n<li>Strong working knowledge of TCEQ regulations, municipal standards, and OSHA requirements</li>\n<li>Demonstrated ability to manage work in live systems and confined spaces</li>\n<li>Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, schedules, and control diagrams</li>\n<li>Proficient in construction documentation and basic computer applications</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Core Competencies</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong field leadership and decision-making</li>\n<li>Clear, confident communication with owners and inspectors</li>\n<li>Proactive problem-solving and schedule control</li>\n<li>High accountability for safety, quality, and production</li>\n<li>Ability to manage complex, multi-discipline scopes simultaneously</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Work Environment &amp;
