    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><span>We are seeking a highly motivated Software Engineer (C++) to work on all aspects of our distributed financial trading systems. This role requires strong C++ development and debugging skills, the ability to understand intricate architectures, and breaking down issues in real-time, distributed financial trading environments.&nbsp;</span></p>\n<p><span>Tradeweb Technology jobs are fully remote. The Tradeweb Technology hub is located in our Jersey City office which can be used for team meetings and collaboration efforts.&nbsp; There may be days where travel to the Jersey City office is recommended for organizational off-sites.</span></p>\n<p><span><strong>Job Responsibilities</strong></span></p>\n<ul>\n <li><span>Develop and enhance core trading systems for Fixed Income and Derivative Securities</span></li>\n <li><span>Work effectively in a small, high-performing software development team</span></li>\n <li><span>Collaborate with both technical team members and non-technical business stakeholders</span></li>\n <li><span>Contribute to the continuous improvement of the trading technology stack</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span><strong>Qualifications</strong></span></p>\n<ul>\n <li><span>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field</span></li>\n <li><span>5+ years of professional C++ development experience (C++14/20) in Windows/Linux environments</span></li>\n <li><span>Strong proficiency in object-oriented design, STL, multithreading, and concurrency (synchronization, parallelism)</span></li>\n <li><span>Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, latency, throughput) and network programming</span></li>\n <li><span>Proven experience building complex, distributed, high-throughput, low-latency, and resilient systems</span></li>\n <li><span>Strong debugging skills and ability to quickly understand and work within large, complex codebases</span></li>\n <li><span>Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools to accelerate ramp-up on large codebases, improve system understanding, and enhance debugging and development productivity</span></li>\n <li><span>Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively across technical and business teams</span></li>\n <li><span>Self-driven, proactive, and capable of independently ramping up in complex environments</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></span></p>\n<ul>\n <li><span>Experience building financial software or trading systems (Fixed Income, Derivatives)</span></li>\n <li><span>Strong focus on code quality, testing methodologies, and system reliability</span></li>\n <li><span>Familiar with SQL stored procedures and relational database design and implementation</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span><strong>Additional Information</strong></span></p>\n<p><span>Tradeweb is committed to providing valuable and competitive benefits.
