We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a<span> </span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Full-Time Custodian</span><span> </span>at the<span> </span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Warren-Trumbull County Public Library</span>!  As a <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Full-Time Custodian</span>, you will play a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our public library spaces. You will be responsible for ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for both customers and staff. <br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">ESSENTIAL DUTIES:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Checks buildings and grounds for safety hazards.</span></li>\n<li><span>Maintains floors, including stairs and halls, by vacuuming, sweeping, waxing, buffing and mopping.</span></li>\n<li><span>Does routine cleaning of offices, public areas, rest rooms and staff lounge, dusting, polishing, emptying wastebaskets, sorting recyclables and removing trash and recyclables.</span></li>\n<li><span>Assists with general groundskeeping work: weeding, raking, irrigation, snow and ice removal and washing windows.</span></li>\n<li><span>Performs special tasks which may involve heavy lifting and moving of furniture and equipment, such as setting up meeting room, moving file cabinets, assembling of furniture, etc.</span></li>\n<li><span>May d</span><span>rive the library van on a scheduled delivery route to each branch library. </span></li>\n<li><span>Unloads and loads materials and equipment.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:</span></p>\n<p><span>High school diploma or equivalent.  Valid driver's license, with an acceptable driving record as shown by a motor vehicle report from the BMV.  Willingness to learn and follow cleaning and maintenance procedures.  Some light maintenance skills highly desirable.  Position is subject to pre-employment, post-accident and random drug/alcohol screening.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>This is a full-time position, scheduled for 40 hours/week.  Work schedule will include some evenings and weekends.  Please refer to the Core Competencies for Library Staff on the library’s website,<span> </span><a href=\"http://www.wtcpl.org/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span>www.wtcpl.org</span></a>.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">BENEFITS:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Retirement Plan: OPERS- Mandatory 10% employee contribution, 14% employer contribution</span></li>\n<li><span>Health Insurance with employer contribution to HSA </span></li>\n<li><span>Life Insurance</span></li>\n<li><span>13 Paid Holidays</span></li>\n<li><span>Paid PTO</span></li>\n<li><span>Employee Assistance Program</span></li>\n<li><span>Continuing education opportunities</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Online applications accepted until position is filled.</span></span></p>",
