Constructs &#34;go-arounds&#34; on blue, black, and double black diamond trails to provide low-risk alternatives. Manages water drainage to minimize erosion and enhance trail sustainability.</p></li><li><p>Ensures proper finish on trail work by clearing debris, seeding disturbed areas, and maintaining berms and features. Performs manual labor and operates heavy equipment like excavators, skid steers, ATVs, and chainsaws. Ensures safety during equipment operation and conducts regular equipment inspections.</p></li><li><p>Monitors the bike park for hazards, including downed trees, erosion, and damaged signage. Coordinates with the bike park and patrol teams on trail closures, repairs, and maintenance. Ensures proper signage on new trails and features before opening and confirms approval from the bike park and patrol managers.</p></li><li><p>Provides safety discussions for the team and maintains a presence at races and events, offering support as needed. Assists with other bike park operations and events as required.</p></li></ul><p></p><h1><b><span>Education:</span></b></h1><ul><li><p>High School Diploma or GED</p></li></ul><p></p><h1><b><span>Preferred Experience:</span></b></h1><p></p><ul><li><p><span>Must be an Downhill Mountain Biker and have the ability to ride all levels of trails in the Bike Park</span></p></li><li><p><span>Well versed in all aspects of cross-country biking to meet demands of growing sport</span></p></li><li><p><span>2 years previous trail building and maintenance experience, preferably in a bike park environment</span></p></li><li><p><span>2 years previous heavy equipment, chainsaws and power tools experience.</span></p></li><li><p><span>2 years experience operating a variety of heavy equipment in a trail building capacity</span></p></li></ul><p></p><h3><i><span>All Information above is subject to change at any time.  </span></i></h3><h3><i><span>To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodations.</span></i></h3><h3><i><span>Snowshoe is an equal opportunity employer.</span></i></h3></div>",
