We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Director of Accounting to lead the financial operations and reporting functions to support our team , ensuring financial integrity, compliance, and operational efficiency across all accounting activities. As a key leader in the finance function, you will oversee all accounting processes, ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. You will play a critical role in supporting the growth and success of MarketForce by delivering strong financial stewardship and insightful business support. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the full-cycle accounting operations for MarketForce, including general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, payroll accounting, and asset management. Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closes in accordance with GAAP/IFRS and internal standards. Maintain strong internal controls and financial procedures to support audit readiness and risk management. Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to align accounting practices with business needs and provide strategic financial insights. Develop, implement, and monitor accounting policies and procedures, ensuring consistency and compliance. Oversee financial reporting and analysis to support executive decision-making and business planning. Serve as the key liaison with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies. Lead and mentor a high-performing accounting team, promoting professional development and operational excellence. Support the evaluation, selection, and implementation of financial systems and tools to drive automation and efficiency. Monitor performance metrics and drive improvements in reporting accuracy, speed, and scalability. CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS WONDER IF YOU ARE A GOOD FIT FOR THIS POSITION? Minimum of 10 years of progressive accounting experience, including 5+ years in a leadership role preferably within a BPO or shared services environment. Strong knowledge of GAAP/IFRS, internal controls, and financial compliance requirements. Demonstrated ability to lead accounting teams and manage multi-entity operations. Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite. Familiarity with process improvement methodologies and finance transformation initiatives.
