    "description": "<p><span>The availability of shifts is dependent upon the number of students enrolled and the needs of the students and faculty.  Classroom schedules and locations are subject to change each semester.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"color: red; font-size: 16px\">RESPONSIBILITIES</span></span><span style=\"color: red; font-size: 16px\">:</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 16px\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Essential Functions - </span><span style=\"font-size: 16px\"> </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Provide a safe and effective learning environment. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Provide psychomotor skills training assistance to students. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Maintain appropriate student training records.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Teach the skills contained in the HutchCC Skills Manual curriculum as specified by the instructor.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Monitor students' progress toward established course skills objectives and provide appropriate feedback to the course instructor and the students.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Facilitate clinical education for the EMS program.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Assess students for safe and effective performance. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Assure that practical skills training equipment is maintained in a safe and acceptable operating condition.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Protect the privacy of students and the confidentiality of training course records as required by applicable laws and standards.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Arrive on time for work, attend work regularly, and successfully complete the responsibilities of the position.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Comply with HutchCC policies, procedures, and practices.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Secondary – </span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Perform other duties as assigned by the HutchCC EMS program coordinator or course instructor.</span>  </li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: red; font-size: 16px\"><br></span><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: red; font-size: 16px\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">QUALIFICATIONS: </span></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: red; font-size: 16px\"><br></span><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">High school diploma or equivalent required.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Current certification as an EMT, AEMT, Paramedic, LPN or RN required.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Teaching experience preferred.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and faculty.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Flexible schedule availability preferred.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Physical requirements include the ability to regularly lift up to 70 pounds; occasional bending, crawling, kneeling, and general physical flexibility may be required for this position; </span><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">push, pull, carry, etc.; visual acuity to view a computer terminal; moderate to heavy/Indoor work environment; excellent written, verbal and listening communication skills; use appropriate judgment and to apply tact and courtesy in difficult situations; ability to understand words and respond effectively and appropriately; may travel in adverse weather conditions.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Mental requirements include the ability to learn and comprehend basic instructions about the position.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Physical and mental qualifications must be performed with or without a reasonable accommodation. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">The qualifications listed are guidelines for selection purposes;
