Our senior managers bring decades of experience in their respective areas of expertise, including in executive-level, leadership roles in the federal government, and use the knowledge gained to achieve superior program and project performance.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Performs a variety of engineering/technical tasks including but not limited to equipment repair, cabling, inspection, installs, modifications, and maintains electrical/electronic systems, circuits, and equipment.</li>\n <li>Attaches fiber optic connectors, RJ-45 connectors, and DB type connectors, and dresses cable installations so that the finished product presents a well-organized and professional appearance.</li>\n <li>Installs CANES, NMT, ADNS, COMSEC, KW46, and other various systems.</li>\n <li>Works with a team supporting cabling, equipment, and C4ISR system installations.</li>\n <li>Travel <em>may be</em> required to various work sites, including OCONUS.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>High School Diploma or equivalent with current and active </strong><strong>OSHA 10 certification.</strong></li>\n <li>Experience installing C4ISR equipment for the US Navy.</li>\n <li>Must have experience with and working knowledge of NAVSEA standard concepts and policies/procedures within the field of electronics repair, fabrication, and installation.</li>\n <li>Possess the ability to obtain a Secret government security clearance. </li>\n <li>Applicant must be willing to travel to various work sites, including OCONUS.</li>\n <li>Must be proficient as a C4ISR system installer, with prior practical work experience with Department of Defense and/or major telecommunications services or equipment providers.</li>\n <li>Understanding of and experience complying with with drawings completed in accordance with the SPAWAR Afloat Installation Process Handbook.</li>\n <li>Skilled and experienced in the safe and efficient operation of common installation power and hand tools including hand-held saws, drills, hole punches, levels, crimpers, fusion splicers, and conduit benders.</li>\n <li>Skilled in the operation of all commonly used installation test equipment, including spectrum analyzers, voltmeters, VSWR meters, Bit-Error Rate Test Sets, and CAT 5e/6 cable testers.</li>\n <li>Possess a consistent record of good workmanship and compliance to applicable work and industry standards.</li>\n <li>Possess the ability to work with a team supporting cabling, equipment, and C4ISR system installations.</li>\n <li>Must be able to work in high heat spaces, confined spaces, climb shipyard dry dock stairs/ladders, work in kneeling position for layout of cable runs under false decking, and lift up to 50 pounds</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Desired Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Multi-pin, fiber optic connector, Air-blown fiber, and KITCO certifications.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>GLOTECH, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer - Minorities/Females/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities.</strong></p>",
