Our core philosophy is centered on helping customers work better and providing &ldquo;only the best&rdquo; &ndash; the best technology, the best products, the best performance, the best in safety and the best in sustainability &ndash; all geared toward increasing their productivity and profitability.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>On a daily basis, perform all tasks in a safe manner while contributing to the health and safety of the work environment. Be proactive in notifying and intervening in potentially dangerous situations.</li><li>Always maintain clean and safe production/warehouse areas.</li><li>Upon receipt of raw materials, perform a cursory quality control on packaging materials, chemicals or any other product used in our operations.</li><li>Store products and components in the appropriate locations according to established procedures.</li><li>Provide all necessary documentation to the Purchasing Department for all receipts, signed accepting the receipt thus approving the eventual payment.</li><li>May be required to prepare bulk batches - Perform chemical mixing/receiving in accordance with work order and instructions.</li><li>May be required to perform quality laboratory analysis in accordance with established procedures.</li><li>Prepare containers for drumming according to instructions and work order.</li><li>Perform drumming of chemicals, alcoholic products in accordance with BCI instructions and safety standards.</li><li>Complete all forms and work orders according to instructions and submit to manager.</li><li>Prepares loads, secures loads/containers on pallets, and loads trailers in accordance with hazardous materials transportation standards.</li><li>Create shipping notices, shipping declarations, shipping/receiving labels and other documentation for shipments.</li><li>May be required to organize and coordinate the shipment of goods.</li><li>Maintain up-to-date information in the warehouse management system.</li><li>Participate in cyclical and annual inventory.</li><li>Bottling in different forms and with different equipment of products for sale.</li><li>Driving a pallet truck, forklift as part of daily operations.</li><li>All other related tasks.</li></ul><p><strong>Knowledge, skills, and abilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Health and Safety oriented.</li><li>Bilingual (French and English), oral and written.</li><li>Team player, initiative, autonomous, detail oriented and customer service oriented.</li><li>Ability to communicate easily at different levels.</li><li>Energetic, reliable, punctual and diligent.</li><li>Ability to handle stress, high workload and simultaneous tasks.</li><li>Ability to meet deadlines and quality standards.</li><li>Mechanical aptitude, curiosity, ability to analyze and discover the source of basic operational and mechanical problems.</li><li>Ability to handle/lift/carry a 50-pound load on occasion.</li><li>Availability to work overtime when required.</li><li>Forklift experience is required (standing and/or seated counterbalanced). Valid forklift certification is an asset.</li><li>Knowledge of WHMIS.</li><li>Experience in mixing chemicals is an asset.</li><li>Certified in hazardous materials handling and shipping (TDG) and document preparation is an asset.</li><li>Experience in quality control is an asset</li><li>Knowledge of ISO standards is an asset</li><li>Experience working in an FDA audited environment is an asset</li><li>Basic knowledge of Windows software; Experience with a Warehouse Management System (WMS) ex: Tecsys is an asset.</li><li>Experience with an RF scanner is an asset.</li></ul><p><strong>Experience and education:</strong></p><ul><li>High school diploma.</li><li>Minimum of five (5) years of experience as a production worker in the food, chemical or other related fields.</li><li>Bilingual (French and English), oral and written is required due to interactions with internal stakeholders &amp; external custome</li></ul>\n",
