This role partners closely with accounting, finance, operational leaders, and regional CFOs to develop a clear, data-driven narrative explaining monthly financial performance.</p><p>Additionally, this role supports the annual audit process, prepares consolidated reporting schedules, and is responsible for debt compliance and reporting requirements related to the company&rsquo;s credit facility.</p><p>The ideal candidate has a strong technical accounting foundation, exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to translate complex financial information into executive-ready insights that tell the story behind the numbers.</p><p><strong>POSITION&rsquo;S ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>Financial Reporting &amp; Board Reporting</strong></p><ul><li>Lead preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting packages.</li><li>Partner with Finance to develop and maintain executive-level board decks, including KPIs, financial trends, variance analysis, and performance commentary.</li><li>Partner with regional CFOs to synthesize financial and operational results into a cohesive, accurate narrative explaining what occurred during the reporting period and identify underlying operational and financial drivers impacting results.</li><li>Draft comprehensive monthly and quarterly MD&amp;A narratives and collaborate with operational leaders to clearly articulate drivers of revenue, margin, expenses, and cash flow.</li><li>Provide data-driven insights into performance trends, risks, and forward-looking considerations.</li><li>Present financial results and insights to senior leadership as needed and lead the monthly budget versus actual financial reviews with key operational leaders.</li><li>Ensure reporting aligns with strategic objectives and operational performance metrics.</li></ul><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>Month-end Close &amp; Accounting Oversight</strong></p><ul><li>Support and coordinate the month-end close process in partnership with the accounting team.</li><li>Review financial statements for accuracy, completeness, and GAAP compliance.</li><li>Analyze variances between actual results, budget, and forecast.</li><li>Ensure proper documentation and internal controls are maintained.</li></ul><p><strong>Audit &amp; Consolidation Support</strong></p><ul><li>Assist with preparation of consolidated financial schedules and supporting documentation for annual audit and interim reviews.</li><li>Compile and reconcile audit support schedules, including roll-forwards and variance explanations.</li><li>Coordinate with accounting team members and external auditors to respond to audit requests.</li><li>Ensure accuracy and completeness of consolidated reporting packages.</li></ul><p><strong>Debt &amp; Compliance Reporting</strong></p><ul><li>Prepare and maintain debt compliance schedules and covenant calculations in accordance with credit agreement requirements.</li><li>Coordinate timely submission of lender reporting packages, including financial statements, compliance certificates, and supporting schedules.</li><li>Monitor covenant performance and provide early identification of potential risks or breaches.</li><li>Partner with the finance and treasury function on forecasting covenant compliance and liquidity planning.</li></ul><p><strong>Ad-Hoc Analysis &amp; Reporting</strong></p><ul><li>Develop custom financial models and ad hoc reports for leadership and board requests.</li><li>Own all internal and external reporting requests by location and on a consolidated enterprise level.</li></ul><p><strong>EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Accounting, Finance, or closely related field (required).</li><li>Master&rsquo;s degree in Accounting, Finance, or MBA (strongly preferred).</li><li>CPA License (strongly preferred).</li><li>Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting and financial reporting experience, preferably in healthcare (required).</li><li>Experience preparing board-level reporting materials required.</li><li>Experience supporting annual audits and consolidated reporting preferred.</li><li>Experience with debt covenant calculations and lender reporting strongly preferred.</li><li>Strong understanding of GAAP and healthcare financial dynamics.</li><li>Sage Intacct &ndash;
