With us, anticipate engaging and challenging projects that deliver innovative solutions and value-added technologies helping power more than 38 million North American homes.</p>\n<h2>What You’ll Do Day-To-Day</h2>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Working with other Engineering teams to define new or revised analytical requirements.     </p></li>\n <li><p>Interface with internal and external customers to understand requirements and future demands.</p></li>\n <li><p>Plans and directs the timely execution of engineering tasks and analyses. </p></li>\n <li><p>Ensures projects, initiatives, and processes comply with established policies, objectives and customer standards.</p></li>\n <li><p>Ensures adherence to development standards and procedures.</p></li>\n <li><p>Researches and assesses best practices, proposing methods and improvements.</p></li>\n <li><p>Works on special projects, as directed.</p></li>\n <li><p>Provide suggestions for improving processes and implementing process improvements.</p></li>\n</ul>\n<p>Preferred Skills:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Familiarity with pressurized water reactors, specifically B&W designed plants, and are experienced with the plant system thermal-hydraulic and core response during operation and transients</li>\n <li>Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to develop and train new teams.</li>\n <li>Experience with cross functional and cross discipline teams.</li>\n <li>Ability to set priorities and goals and work effectively to meet them.</li>\n <li>Experience with regulations and licensing associated with applying methodologies to light water reactors, including NRC interactions.</li>\n <li>Customer focus and demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>What You'll Bring</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering. Dependent on the position, degrees in Physics, Engineering Technology and Engineering Science may also be accepted.</li>\n <li>Minimum of 7 years of related experience.</li>\n <li>Advanced knowledge of related engineering standards, techniques and criteria.  </li>\n <li>Excellent communication skills to comprehend and convey detailed technical data. </li>\n <li>Grows developed network and maintains good interpersonal relationships; work collaboratively within a team environment. </li>\n <li>Advanced problem identification and problem resolution skills.  </li>\n <li>Displays leadership characteristics.   </li>\n <li>Exhibits questioning attitude and practices self-checking.  </li>\n <li>Advanced proficiency with specialized software tools and programming languages as required by the role.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Total Rewards Package</h2>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Salary:</strong> $115,000 - $156,000 and may also include annual incentives and performance bonuses. The base salary range is a guideline.
