    "description": "<h2>Description</h2>\n<p>Markon is seeking a Cryptologic Computer Scientist 2 to support cyber mission analytics in a data-driven operational environment for the Fort Meade Customer. This role blends computer science, large-scale data analytics, and cyber threat analysis to identify, assess, and investigate network-based threats. </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Analyze large-scale data sets to identify patterns, anomalies, and indicators of cyber threats.</li>\n <li>Develop and maintain analytic workflows using Python and Apache Spark.</li>\n <li>Perform network and protocol analysis to support cryptologic and cyber threat investigations.</li>\n <li>Leverage and interpret data from customer-provided cryptologic and cyber toolsets.</li>\n <li>Conduct discovery-driven analysis to uncover emerging threats, techniques, and adversary behaviors.</li>\n <li>Collaborate with analysts, engineers, and operators to translate analytic findings into actionable insights.</li>\n <li>Document analytic methodologies, findings, and recommendations.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>TS/SCI with Active Polygraph with this Customer.</li>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related technical discipline plus 5 years of relevant experience.</li>\n <li>Required experience with Python and Apache Spark.</li>\n <li>Demonstrated experience working with large-scale data sets.</li>\n <li>Strong background in network and protocol analysis.</li>\n <li>Familiarity with customer cryptologic and cyber toolsets.</li>\n <li>Inquisitive, analytical mindset with a focus on discovery and problem-solving.</li>\n <li>Ability to communicate technical findings clearly to both technical and analytic audiences.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Salary Range</h2>USD $120,000.00 - USD $145,000.00 /Yr.The Markon pay range for this position is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
