Responsibilities include:</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>1.  Performs programs on all identified residents. To include but not limited to: </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Range of motion (passive/active)</li>\n <li>General strengthening exercises</li>\n <li>Ambulation and transfer training</li>\n <li>ADL’s</li>\n <li>Nursing whirlpools as assigned</li>\n <li>Placement of restorative devices and equipment</li>\n <li>Positioning</li>\n <li>Restorative feeding program</li>\n</ul>\n<p> 2.  Document daily on treatment grid and weekly on progress notes.</p>\n<p> 3.  Notifies restorative nurse coordinator or appropriate therapy department of  problems, referrals or reassessments needed.</p>\n<p> 4.  Reports to the Director of Nursing and charts significant change in resident’s  condition or motivational level.</p>\n<p> 5. Reinforces team management of B/B program and works with nurse aides on B/B procedures.</p>\n<p> 6.  Attends meetings and in-services as required.</p>\n<p> 7.  Serves as a resident advocate at all times. Motivates others.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<li>Nursing Assistant Certification from the state, where required.</li>\n<li>Good communication skills with the ability to read and write the English language.</li>\n<li>Ability to document appropriately and perform technical procedures.</li>\n<li>Genuine caring for and interest in resident.</li>\n<li>A strong belief in the Restorative Nursing Philosophy.</li>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>(EOE)</p>",
