    "description": "<p><span><span>The Camp Manager shall be expected to</span><span> ensure operations at the camping site are </span><span>maintained</span><span> as instructed.</span></span><span> </span></p>\n<p><span> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span><span>Roles and Responsibilities:</span></span></span><span> </span></p>\n<p><span> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span><span>Facility Management: </span></span></span><span> </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Oversee maintenance of campground facilities, including campsites, restrooms, shower facility, waste management, recreational areas, and utilities (e.g., water, waste disposal). </span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Coordinate repairs, cleaning, and landscaping to ensure a safe and appealing environment. </span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Monitor and </span><span>maintain</span><span> equipment such gas cylinders, fire extinguishers, generators.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Enforce campground rules and handle emergencies, such as fires, medical incidents, or wildlife encounters</span><span>.  </span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Conduct regular safety inspections and </span><span>maintain</span><span> emergency preparedness plans.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span><span>Specific Requirements:</span></span></span><span> </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Daily housekeeping checks </span><span>including</span><span> </span><span>ensuring</span><span> that</span><span> sleeping, kitchen</span><span>s and</span><span> toilet facilities </span><span>are kept</span><span> clean.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Checking all gas cylinders evening and morning that they are closed.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Checking daily all fire extinguishers are in their correct positions and ready to be used.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Ensuring all</span><span> that</span><span> waste is managed</span><span>,</span><span> disposed of in the waste storage areas</span><span> and removed daily</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Ensuring that the</span><span> shower facilitie</span><span>s </span><span>remain</span><span> in good working order.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Recon</span><span>ciliation</span><span> of camping items each Friday before the </span><span>Small, M</span><span>edium and Micro Enterprises (“</span></span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span><span>SMME</span></span></span><span><span>”)</span><span> team leave site,</span><span> for example</span><span>: utensils, generators, gas cylinders, </span><span>beds</span><span> </span><span>and the like.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Coordinate any emergency incident in conjunction with the HSSE Manager and Project Manager</span><span>/Project Extension Officer</span><span>.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span><span>General:</span></span></span><span> </span></p>\n<p><span> </span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Embrace a culture of continuous learning by adapting to evolving job responsibilities, driven by the camp managers commitment to innovation, personal growth, and shifting project priorities.</span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"> </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Some travel within the Eastern </span><span>C</span><span>ape </span><span>anticipated</span><span>, including to remote locations. Travel may on occasion cross weekends and holidays to accommodate schedules.
