    "description": "<h2>Description</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Under the direction of the Structural Project Lead, this position will offer you the opportunity to work with multi-disciplined engineering and design project teams in developing structural steel design and reinforced concrete design layout drawings in a 3-D model</li>\n <li>Utilize Hexagon’s SmartPlant S3D modeling software and SPF database to generate structural design deliverables, BOMs, and commodity lists</li>\n <li>Develop structural steel framing drawings, concrete wall and foundation drawings and detailing consistent with the engineering requirements</li>\n <li>Act as the structural design team lead in the coordination of detailed design phases for all aspects of an integrated structural design model</li>\n <li>Resolve clashes and discrepancies in the 3D model and report status </li>\n <li>Coordinate and provide guidance to other designers and project team members to ensure a complete and timely design</li>\n <li>Independently plan and execute design of structural deliverables</li>\n <li>Provide guidance as a mentor in the development of less experienced drafters and designers</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>We do not sponsor employees for work authorization in the U.S. for this position.</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Essential skills and experience:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience with SmartPlant S3D modeling including the following:</li>\n <ul>\n  <li>Understanding of the integration of S3D and SPF</li>\n  <li>Clash detection resolution</li>\n  <li>Component/Parametric Element Set Up</li>\n  <li>Interface with SmartPlant Administrators in the development of structural deliverable templates and catalogs</li>\n  <li>Reports/Schedules/Templates</li>\n  <li>Drawing Presentation Rules Set Up</li>\n  <li>Plant model data management </li>\n </ul>\n <li>10 or more years of detailed design experience in the development of structural plant design drawings; structural steel design and reinforced concrete design drawings </li>\n <li>Proficiency with design software tools in executing 3D plant layout models</li>\n <li>Experience in the review of structural layout drawings involving steel frames, connections, concrete members, equipment and piping supports, foundations, and rebar detailing</li>\n <li>Experience in the review of vendor drawings and interface points</li>\n <li>Ability to interface with engineering and design teams of other disciplines in the plant design process. </li>\n</ul>\n<p>Valued but not required experience:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Proficiency with MicroStation</li>\n <li>Microsoft Office tools</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Award-Winning Benefits</h2>\n<p>At Sargent & Lundy, we care about the health and well-being of our employees.
