Start your journey with us today and enjoy the reward.</strong></p><p style='margin-top:0in;margin-right:0in;margin-bottom:8.0pt;margin-left:0in;line-height:115%;font-size:16px;font-family:\"Aptos\",sans-serif;'><strong>Shift: 2nd Shift &ndash; 2:00 PM to 12:00 AM</strong></p><p><br><strong>What We Are Looking For!</strong><br>&nbsp;<br><strong><u>FLEET SERVICE TECHNICIAN</u></strong><br>&nbsp;<br><strong>POSITION SUMMARY</strong><br>To inspect, repair, diagnose, and perform routine preventative maintenance on all vehicles and equipment, in a safe, timely, cost-effective manner.<br>&nbsp;<br><strong>ESSENTIAL DUTIES &amp; RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Perform repairs and assigned preventive maintenance services</li><li>Perform inspection, diagnosis and repair of electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake and air systems on vehicles and equipment</li><li>Review, complete or assigns repairs identified on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports</li><li>Prepare and maintain maintenance records in accordance with Company policies and State and Federal regulations in the absence of a Shop Manager</li><li>Read reports, technical manuals, and other documents to keep abreast of changes in Company fleet, including all component parts</li><li>Perform service calls for emergency breakdowns</li><li>Conducts safety checks on vehicles</li><li>When applicable, use welding skills and knowledge of metals to complete vehicle repairs</li><li>Perform other job-related duties as assigned or apparent</li></ul><p><strong>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Minimum of 2 year of experience on heavy equipment and truck maintenance experience.</li><li>Minimum of 2 year of experience in a technician position demonstrating knowledge of diesel-powered equipment diagnosis and repair.</li><li>Ability to perform basic and in-depth tasks on heavy truck diesel systems: must be knowledgeable with suspensions &amp; steering; general engine, transmissions, brakes, electrical, hydraulics, drive train, diesel emissions.&nbsp;</li><li>Experience with welding a plus</li><li>Must possess own hand tools</li><li>Able to work well with minimal supervision</li><li>Effective written and oral communication skills</li><li>Ability to prioritize tasks and follow specified procedures</li></ul><p><strong>PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Prolonged periods of standing and walking</li><li>Ability to climb, bend, or crawl into awkward spaces</li><li>Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 75 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move 75-100 pounds</li><li>Exposure to physical occupational risks (such as cuts, burns, exposure to toxic chemicals, etc.) often</li><li>Exposure to physical environment which involves moving mechanical parts, fumes, dirt, odors, noise, weather extremes or similar elements often</li></ul><p><strong>EDUCATION</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>High school diploma or equivalent</li><li>Graduate from an accredited automotive college or technical school</li></ul><p><br><strong>LICENSE AND CERTIFICATIONS</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Valid Driver&rsquo;s License</li><li>Commercial Driver&rsquo;s License is a plus but not required</li><li>Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certifications (T1-T8) are a plus but not required\\</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Company supplies: Safety boots, uniforms and all PPE</strong></p></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div>\n",
