This role is ideal for a professional<br>with 2+ years of public accounting experience who is ready to move into a high-growth tech environment. You will<br>play a critical role in building scalable accounting processes, ensuring GAAP and tax compliance, and providing the<br>financial clarity needed to support our rapid growth.</p>\n<p><br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Job Responsibilities:</span><br>● Financial Close and Reporting: Manage the full-cycle monthly and quarterly close process, including<br>preparing journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and variance (flux) analysis.<br>● Operational Accounting: Oversee daily operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash<br>management, expense reporting, and payroll processing.<br>● Compliance and Tax: Support various tax filings including sales and use tax, property tax, unclaimed<br>property, and payroll tax.<br>● Process Improvement and Automation: Identify opportunities to modernize the finance function using AI-<br>enabled tools and cloud-based software to automate manual procedures.<br>● Process Documentation: Create and maintain detailed standard operating procedures (SOP), process<br>flowcharts, and Risk and Control Matrices (RCMs) for core cycles.<br>● Audit Readiness: Lead the preparation of audit schedules for external auditors to ensure a clean and<br>efficient year-end audit.<br>● Other Projects: Support various ad hoc projects as needed.</p>\n<p><br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Qualification and Skills:</span><br>● Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.<br>● 2+ years of professional accounting experience, with a background in Big 4 public accounting preferred.<br>● Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting principles.<br>● Expertise in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions like pivot tables and VLOOKUPs.<br>● Hands-on experience with NetSuite or similar ERP systems is highly desirable.<br>● Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.<br>● Proactive attitude with a commitment to accuracy and a high level of attention to detail.<br>● Strong problem-solving abilities and the flexibility to adapt to a fast-paced startup environment.</p>",
