We provide a nurturing environment where our participants can thrive and achieve their fullest potential. </span><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-weight: bold\">Registered Nurse -Supervisor</span><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Requirements:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Related Training and Mass RN License.</li>\n<li>One (1) year experience in a community health setting. </li>\n<li>Professional appearance and demeanor. </li>\n<li>Excellent Writing Skills. </li>\n<li>Possession of a valid Driver’s license, a good driving record and a willingness to use agency vehicle in the course of employment.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Preference:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience with adults with developmental disabilities. </li>\n<li>Supervision and training experience.</li>\n<li>Day Habilitation and/or medical residence supervisory experience highly desirable. \n<ul>\n<li>Knowledge of MAP training, and ability to re-certify and train staff highly desirable.</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Summary Description:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Oversee health and safety supports for all individuals. </li>\n<li>Complete all necessary medical documentation.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Duties and Responsibilities:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Monitor/Oversee health and safety services for individuals in the Day Habilitation Program, while they are in the center or community, consistent with Medicaid, DDS, DPH and OSHA safety/ health standards, human rights, dignity and choice.</li>\n<li>Work with the Nursing Team to maintain agency health standards and medication administration.</li>\n<li>Provide supervision to Nursing Team and direct care staff at Price Center medical residence. Assure highest quality care and ensuring adherence to funder regulations, CARF, and DPH regulations.</li>\n<li>Provide emergency medical treatment to individuals, as needed, and routine medical treatment as prescribed by personal physicians, and document the same.</li>\n<li>Provide healthcare services for all program recipients</li>\n<li>Upkeep of all nursing, medication, and health records in individual confidential files; complete and submit state required medication administration and storage reports. Complete Agency accident/injury forms.</li>\n<li>Review all new referrals and manage medical admission requirements.</li>\n<li>Perform assessments for the individuals to determine medical needs and make recommendations for intervention.</li>\n<li>Act as primary contact with residential nursing staff and primary physicians, obtaining required reports/approval.</li>\n<li>Assess and make recommendations for equipment to support individual’s safety and comfort. </li>\n<li>Participate in the Interdisciplinary Team's continuing individual evaluations, documenting recommendations and advising staff of any medical issues.</li>\n<li>Conduct individual and/or group employee trainings for agency safety plan procedures, universal precautions, health/ safety standards, and individual health needs.</li>\n<li>Participate in the quarterly inspections done by the Safety Committee and document any findings or recommendations.</li>\n<li>Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor, treating all individuals, staff, and families as valued adults.</li>\n<li>Work with individuals and small groups, per ISPs, to develop independent living, health, hygiene and safety skills.</li>\n<li>Provide supervision for L.P.Ns on staff.</li>\n<li>Support program participants’ right to express their religious affiliations and cultural traditions through preferred and relevant activities.  Support diversity of individuals served through respect of religious preferences and/or cultural backgrounds.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Benefits:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Generous vacation, personal and sick time available to all full-time employees.</li>\n<li>Employer paid Life, Long Term Disability, and AD&amp;D insurance offered at no cost to the employee.</li>\n<li>Employer sponsored Health, Vision and Dental Insurance with a substantial employer contribution to the cost.</li>\n<li>403(b) retirement plan with employer match.</li>\n<li>Company scholarship program and tuition remission programs</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\"><em>This job specification should not be construed to imply that these requirements are the exclusive standards of the position.  Incumbents will follow any other instructions, and perform any other related duties, as may be required by their supervisor.</em></span></p>",
