Description

Job Duties: Responsible for performing inspections, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and annual rehabilitation of a variety of different amusement rides and attractions. Specific Job Duties: · Perform visual inspections of assigned rides and attractions · Perform rehab work on theme park rides and attractions · Maintain, erect, repair and trouble-shoot various theme park rides and attractions · Visually inspect and listen to machines and equipment to locate causes of malfunctions · Remove and/or replace worn or defective parts using hand and/or power tools · Perform routine preventative maintenance on various equipment including rides and attractions · Properly follow all repair procedures and maintain accurate documentation of all repairs Preferred Qualifications: · Should possess practical skill and proficient knowledge in fields such as: mechanical, electrical, electronics, hydraulics, pneumatics, welding and small combustion engine repair · Have strong mechanical, electrical and hydraulic experience · Must be able to trouble-shoot clearly, calmly and safely in the presence of guest and fellow team members · Must be able to work with others in a fast pace and sometimes stressful environment · Must possess strong safety sensitivity · Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English · Must possess the mental and physical capacities necessary to perform the primary job duties, including climbing and working at heights up to and in excess of 250ft, crawling and working in confined spaces and lifting up to 75 lbs. Must be able to walk, stand, bend, kneel, squat, stoop and twist. Must be able to work outdoors in extreme temperatures. Must possess the physical dexterity to operate hand tools and motor vehicles. · Must have mechanics hand tools including but not limited to, screw drivers, pliers, hammer, pry bar, punches, wrenches, and socket set up to 1” · Must possess a valid driver’s license and have reliable transportation · Must be willing to work all shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays during peak season
