If so, Learn It Systems is looking for a part time Licensed School Counselor to work in our K-8 classrooms.</p>\n<p>This is a great opportunity to join a growing, interdisciplinary team of professionals focused on creating exceptional learning experiences for children in need.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p> </p>\n<p>In this position, you would be a part of an educational team consisting of a supervisor and educators. This team works with school districts to deliver the highest-quality education to students in a small group learning environment. As an Academic School Counselor you will work on a one-on-one basis or in small groups providing classroom guidance and promoting student engagement and performance.</p>\n<p>Academic School Counselors will be a part of a team that works with students who qualify for Title I assistance. Responsibilities include consulting and developing rapport with parents, classroom teachers, school principal and other school personnel on a regular basis. Working to keep an open line of communication available at all times and provide local resources to the school staff and parents as needed.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>PAY: $35 - $40/hr</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p>IN PERSON</p>\n<ul>\n <li>School counseling licensure required or Social Worker</li>\n <li>A minimum of 5 years’ experience preferred</li>\n <li>Experience working with Title I students a plus</li>\n <li>Must be able to lift 30 pounds</li>\n <li>Work location is in a school building where employee will need to be able to go up and down stairs</li>\n <li>Frequent standing and ability to raise arms above the head</li>\n <li>Hand dexterity for typing and entering data into a computer</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Learn It Systems is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
