They will be responsible for investor and regulatory reporting.</p>\n<p>Principal Responsibilities:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Responsible for oversight of quarterly valuation process for private debt and equity positions, including financials statement analysis, yield analysis and discounted cash flow and market approaches</li>\n <li>Involvement in independent third-party valuation processes</li>\n <li>Involvement in external/internal Audit review process</li>\n <li>Responsible for investor and regulatory reporting including MD&amp;A disclosures for financial statements</li>\n <li>Responsible for valuation committee presentations</li>\n <li>Daily interaction with portfolio managers, Fund Accounting &amp; Operations</li>\n <li>Understand SOX 404 framework and document supporting evidence of key SOX controls to ensure correct levels of control and independence are in place</li>\n <li>Develop a broad understanding of credit markets and the BDC industry</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Qualifications:&nbsp;</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Degree in Finance / Accounting, CPA/CFA or MBA preferred</li>\n <li>3-5 years relevant work experience (public and/or private)</li>\n <li>Working knowledge of Private Equity and Private Debt valuations, including knowledge of market approach, DCF, liquidation approach etc.</li>\n <li>Strong understanding of WACC, CAPM and Contingent Claims Analysis models</li>\n <li>Strong understanding of Fixed Income and Equities markets and the alternative investment management industry&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Extensive Microsoft Office experience (Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook)</li>\n <li>Strong understanding of valuation accounting disclosures</li>\n <li>Strong interpersonal (verbal and written communication) skills, including experience presenting/communicating with senior managers</li>\n <li>Ability to work within a team environment</li>\n <li>Strong analytical and organizational skills</li>\n <li>Results driven and great multitasking skills</li>\n</ul>\n<div>\n <p><b>Salary Range</b>&nbsp;<br>\n   The expected base salary for this Jersey City, New Jersey, United States-based position is $85000-$140000.
