If you are looking for more than just a job and you want a career, Consider Hood Packaging Corporation.</p><p>Hood Packaging is currently recruiting a Quality Technician for our Arden Hills, MN plant. &nbsp;The Quality Technician will be responsible for assisting in the planning, organizing and executing company-wide quality control. To provide technical assistance to Manufacturing Plant operations in process improvement, cost reduction, safety enhancement, and efficiency. Support all SQF, GMP and product safety guidelines and procedures.</p><p>Functional Responsibilities</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Implementing and maintaining activities/processes aimed at improving our processes with the assistance of the Plant/Office people, Supervisors and Manufacturing Manager.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Aid in implementing and maintaining the Hood Packaging Quality Management system. &nbsp;Working with the production floor and the management team to maintain SQF Certification.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Conduct quality tests, as required, and document results. &nbsp;</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>On the floor monitoring &ndash; assist production associates with discrepancies, general process questions, review quality monitors for completeness and correctness and assist in on the spot situations.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Assist the Manufacturing Manager in organization of all records required to show the conformance of product to requirements.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Coordinate RMA&rsquo;s with customers. &nbsp;Weigh and count returned goods. &nbsp;Maintain Internal Complaint log including dollar value and associate who produced defective product. &nbsp;In order to assign corrective action to the appropriate supervisor. &nbsp; Assist with disposition of nonconforming materials and assist with rework re-inspections.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Under the direction of the Region Quality Manager, assist with maintaining Corrective Action Program, which includes monitoring and follow up of CAR assignments.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Assist Supervisors with training production associates in conducting required tests or completing quality forms.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Assist in team problem solving projects, under the direction of the Region Quality Manager.</p><p><br></p><p>Qualifications</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>College degree or high school diploma/GED.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Quality and manufacturing experience helpful.</p><p>Skills</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Familiar with the packaging process as it relates to fulfilling customer requirements from a quality perspective.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail.&nbsp;</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Strong understanding of product structures and customer requirements.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Works cooperatively with others, promoting a team environment.</p><p><br></p><p>Excellent Benefit Options: Medical, Dental, 401K, Life Insurance, Vacation</p><p>Hood Packaging Corporation is an equal opportunity employer and considers applications for all positions without regard to race, gender, religion, national origin, age, marital or veteran status, the presence of a non-job-related medical condition or handicap or any other legally protected status.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p></div></div></div>\n",
