About the role: Reporting to the Senior Engineering Supervisor – Short Range, the Mining Engineer is responsible for working as part of a team in support of developing and optimizing 2-week planning. This role involves all aspects of short-range planning including the following: Drill and blast planning Shovel scheduling Coal release planning Waste dump planning Pit Dewatering Lining up survey controls Checking as-built surveys to designs and documenting Grow with us. Reporting to the Senior Engineer Supervisor, Mining, a Mine Engineer or Mine EIT is responsible for working with a group of professionals to support the mining operations.
