Designs and implements an effective and appropriate educational and vocational training program for assigned students to prepare them for employment; works collaboratively with pupils, parents, support staff, administrators, health organizations, agencies, and community groups to enhance the training and employment opportunities for students.\n</div>\n<div>\n <br/>\n</div>\n<div>\n Duties and Responsibilities\n</div>\n<div>\n • Develop lesson plans.\n</div>\n<div>\n • Work directly with students to understand the concepts of programming.\n</div>\n<div>\n • Instruct students on the concepts of cybersecurity and networking.\n</div>\n<div>\n • Train students how to code.\n</div>\n<div>\n • Follow all safety procedures.\n</div>\n<div>\n • Develop and use instructional materials suitable for verbal and/or visual instruction of students.\n</div>\n<div>\n • Teach students how to use visual programming languages.\n</div>\n<div>\n • Takes all necessary safety precautions to protect students, equipment, materials, and facilities.\n</div>\n<div>\n • Create lessons based on standards from the Computer Science Teachers Association (CSTA)\n</div>\n<div>\n and the North Carolina Essential Standards for Career &amp;amp; Technical Education.\n</div>\n<div>\n • Provide learning experiences and teach the course of study prescribed by the District and State approved curriculum.&nbsp;\n</div>\n<div>\n • Provide individual and group instruction designed to meet individual needs and motivate students.\n</div>\n<div>\n • Utilize classroom management techniques conducive to an effective classroom climate.\n</div>\n<div>\n • Facilitate simulated work-based learning activities by partnering with departments throughout the school.&nbsp;\n</div>\n<div>\n • Establish and maintain standards of student control required to achieve effective participation in all activities.\n</div>\n<div>\n • Evaluate the academic and social growth of students and keep appropriate records.\n</div>\n<div>\n • Prepare students for life after high school by introducing them to the different options available to them in the workforce, military and/or college.\n</div>\n<div>\n • Implement classroom policies and procedures that emulate workplace policies and procedures to help ready to students\n</div>\n<div>\n for the workforce.\n</div>\n<div>\n • Identify student needs and cooperate with other professional staff members in assessing and helping students solve health, attitude, and learning problems.\n</div>\n<div>\n • Use appropriate techniques and strategies which promote and enhance critical, creative, and innovative thinking\n</div>\n<div>\n capabilities of students.\n</div>\n<div>\n • Select and requisition instructional materials;
