Other duties may be assigned. </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Assists the doctor in procedures </li>\n <li>Takes x-rays </li>\n <li>Takes IO's </li>\n <li>Assist in Prophylaxis cleaning of teeth </li>\n <li>Instructs patients on oral hygiene </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Charts cavities and teeth with doctor </li>\n <li>Sterilizes instruments </li>\n <li>Sets up/breakdown and prepares rooms for treatment/hygiene </li>\n <li>Charting of patient's treatment and treatment plan with doctor </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Education and/or Experience:</strong>  </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Certification from a dental college OR three to six months related experience and/or training OR equivalent combination of education and experience, preferred </li>\n <li>Bilingual in Spanish,  a plus</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Required Certificates or Licences:</strong>  </p>\n<ul>\n <li>X-Ray certification  </li>\n <li>BLS certification  </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>8-hour Infection Control certification </li>\n <li>2-hour Dental Practice Act certification</li>\n</ul>",
