From bridge and structural engineering to civil, electrical, mechanical, and process engineering, Kleinfelder's collaborative Design Services create synergy across multiple disciplines.  </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Step into Your New Role </strong></p>\n<p>Kleinfelder is currently seeking candidates for a<strong> Transportation Engineer Internship</strong> in our Pittsburgh, PA office.  We are looking for students studying civil engineering with a focus on Highway or Bridge Design.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The ideal Intern candidate will be able to follow proper procedures, prepare plans using CAD software, perform accurate computations, and build strong working relationships with coworkers.  </p>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities would include:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Continuously interact with and learn from junior and senior level technical staff.</li>\n <li>Prepare evaluations, calculations, reports, drawings and specifications.</li>\n <li>Assist with field assignments including inspections and observations.</li>\n <li>Contribute to writing technical reports, correspondence and proposals; and</li>\n <li>Assist with the administration and coordination of various projects.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Working towards a bachelor’s and/or master’s degree in civil engineering required.</li>\n <li>Working knowledge of AutoCAD, MicroStation, OpenRoads, OpenBridge and Civil 3D.</li>\n <li>Engineering-in-Training (EIT) certificate a plus.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Following an offer, candidates will be required to satisfactorily complete employment reference checks, verification of professional licensure and/or educational credentials, a motor vehicle report (MVR), and a comprehensive background check.</p>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>Move Forward with Kleinfelder</strong> </p>\n<p>Kleinfelder has been connecting great people to the best work since 1961.
