A clean driving record and commercial driving experience is a must. &nbsp;</p><p>*In addition to CDL Position, must be willing to assist in the Lawn Care Department as needed.</p><p>&nbsp;Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:</p><ul><li>Fully understand how to operate and safely drive your assigned vehicle</li><li>Drive vehicles with a Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) over 26,000 lbs.</li><li>Pick-up and safely transport goods, materials, etc. to intended destination</li><li>Ensure contents are properly secured in truck, flatbed to prevent damage/injury</li><li>Perform inspections of your vehicle prior to and following each trip</li><li>Always ensure your vehicle is kept clean</li><li>Maintain and service vehicle as needed (refuel, change oil, tire pressure, repairs, etc.)</li><li>Notify managers of any major maintenance or delivery issues encountered</li><li>Maintain detailed driving and delivery logs</li><li>Track and report working hours</li><li>Adhere to company rules and regulations</li><li>Obey all applicable traffic laws and drive in according to the weather/road conditions</li><li>Comply with ICC and DOT regulations</li><li>Make safety a priority at all times</li><li>Can operate and load construction equipment for transportation to other sites&nbsp;</li></ul><p>CDL Truck Driver Requirements and Qualifications</p><ul><li>High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred</li><li>Valid commercial driver&rsquo;s license (CDL) required</li><li>2+ years proven experience in commercial truck driving preferred</li><li>Clean driving record with no moving violations</li><li>Must pass background check and drug test</li><li>Skilled at driving and parking large, heavy vehicles</li><li>Alert, focused, and detail-oriented</li><li>Physically and mentally fit</li><li>Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. at a time</li><li>Possess great physical stamina and focus during long driving shifts</li><li>Able to operate electric lift, hand trucks, pallet jacks, etc.</li><li>Proficient using GPS and other routing systems</li><li>Disciplined, dependable, and resourceful</li><li>High level of composure and good stress management</li></ul><p>&nbsp;Must be willing to perform other duties as required in the Lawn Care Department to include:</p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Perform all tasks of operations including but not limited to mowing, line trimming, blowing, leaf and debris removal, weeding, edging, hedging, raking and mulch installation</li><li>Mix and spray or spread fertilizers, herbicides, or insecticides onto grass, shrubs, and trees, using hand or automatic sprayers or spreaders.</li><li>Proper use of safety equipment and personal protective equipment.</li><li>Unloading/loading equipment and materials</li><li>Wash dirty equipment {including all mower decks} and return to approved storage location. Report damaged or broken equipment to management immediately.</li><li>Fill trucks, mowers, equipment, and cans with fuel additive &amp; fuel in preparation for the next day (or as necessary)</li><li>Adherence to the company&rsquo;s employee manual &amp; procedures as required from all employees</li></ul><p><br></p></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div>\n",
