    "description": "<p style=\"margin-left:0in;margin-right:0in;\"><strong><em>DESCRIPTION:</em></strong><br />\nUnder the direction and supervision of the Group Exercise Coordinator or Fitness Operations Supervisor, the Group Exercise Instructor is responsible for creating and implementing the proper format for the class being taught.</p>\n\n<p style=\"margin-left:0in;margin-right:0in;\"><em><strong>PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></em></p>\n\n<ol>\n\t<li style=\"margin-left:0in;margin-right:0in;\">Adhere to and uphold Gurnee Park District Customer Service Standards: SOFFI.</li>\n\t<li style=\"margin-left:0in;margin-right:0in;\">Must teach classes to the abilities of their patrons, not their own.</li>\n\t<li style=\"margin-left:0in;margin-right:0in;\">Provide leadership and guidance to participants regarding proper form and skills.</li>\n\t<li style=\"margin-left:0in;margin-right:0in;\">Report to class with enough time to prepare room, set up equipment, arrange music, greet guests and verify attendees.</li>\n\t<li style=\"margin-left:0in;margin-right:0in;\">Communicate with participants regarding any changes for the class.</li>\n\t<li style=\"margin-left:0in;margin-right:0in;\">Report any problems or repairs of equipment to Group Exercise Coordinator or Fitness Operations Supervisor following appropriate procedures immediately after class.</li>\n\t<li style=\"margin-left:0in;margin-right:0in;\">Attend all staff meetings and trainings.</li>\n\t<li style=\"margin-left:0in;margin-right:0in;\">Advises participants on program and class policies and procedures, as appropriate.</li>\n\t<li style=\"margin-left:0in;margin-right:0in;\">Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.</li>\n\t<li style=\"margin-left:0in;margin-right:0in;\">Communicate information, as needed, to patrons.</li>\n</ol>\n\n<p style=\"margin-left:0in;margin-right:0in;\"><em><strong>MARGINAL FUNCTIONS:</strong></em></p>\n\n<ol>\n\t<li style=\"margin-left:0in;margin-right:0in;\">Perform other duties and requirements as assigned.</li>\n\t<li style=\"margin-left:0in;margin-right:0in;\">Maintain a positive attitude toward all patrons.</li>\n\t<li style=\"margin-left:0in;margin-right:0in;\">Request supplies that are needed for the type of class being taught; All requests should be submitted to Fitness Operations Supervisor.</li>\n\t<li style=\"margin-left:0in;margin-right:0in;\">Maintain weekly attendance sheets.</li>\n</ol>",
