Here's what will set you up for success in this role:</p><ul><li>5–8 years designing UX and UI for software products — enough to work fully autonomously, raise the bar on craft, and mentor others as the team scales.</li><li>A portfolio that shows both the quality of your output and how you think through design problems — process matters as much as polish.</li><li>Mastery of Figma and modern prototyping tools, with strong experience building and maintaining design systems from the ground up.</li><li>Exceptional UI skills: visual design, layout, typography, and component-level thinking that holds up across two very different product contexts.</li><li>Collaborates closely with engineers and PMs — can translate ambiguous requirements into clear design direction and give developers what they need to ship without follow-up.</li><li>Based in Berlin and energised by being in the room. We're intentionally office-first — decisions get made in real time, prototypes get stress-tested over lunch, and the founding team is ten metres away.
