    "description": "<h2>Min</h2>USD $55,000.00/Yr.\n<h2>Max</h2>USD $60,000.00/Yr.\n<h2>Position Overview</h2>\n<p>The Vocational Specialist provides vocational services and consultation as a member of a multi-disciplinary treatment team. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<li><strong>ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></li>\n<ul>\n <li>Familiar with Federal, State and Local laws and regulations as they apply to the community residence program and agency policies</li>\n <li>Provides vocational services and consultation as a member of a multi-disciplinary team. visits clients in their home and other settings required.</li>\n <li>Familiar with OMH regulations</li>\n <li>Responsible for integrating vocational goals and services</li>\n <li>Provides aid and assistance through all phases of the vocational service provision</li>\n <li>Performing routine clinical services as a member of the Team </li>\n <li>Responsible for charting client services</li>\n <li>Responsible Vocational portion or all of creating the service plan</li>\n <li>Responsible for integrating vocational goals and services with the tasks of all the team members </li>\n <li>Responsible for ensuring revisions to the plan as the participant’s needs change</li>\n <li>Advocating for the rights and preferences of the participant whenever possible</li>\n <li>Responsible for creating a monthly spreadsheet with names of tenants and their employment status</li>\n <li>Follow-up quarterly with all employed tenants</li>\n <li>Assist with making monthly contact with tenant as needed</li>\n <li>Participate in bi-weekly monthly meeting </li>\n <li>Participate in monthly supervision to address any work-related tasks or concerns</li>\n <li>Other duties as assigned</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li><p><strong><em>REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE </em></strong></p>\n  <ul>\n   <li>BA degree in psychology, social work, or related field preferred.</li>\n   <li>Must have two or more years’ experience working with persons who are seriously persistently mentally ill under the supervision of a certified rehabilitation counselor. </li>\n   <li>Must have excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. </li>\n   <li>Proficient in MS Word/Excel. </li>\n   <li>Ability to research material via the internet. </li>\n  </ul><p> </p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong><em>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS</em></strong></p>\n  <ul>\n   <li>Valid driver’s license is a plus, but not required. </li>\n   <li>Experience working with different populations preferred </li>\n   <li>Bilingual English/Spanish speaking preferred</li>\n   <li> </li>\n  </ul><p> </p></li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Company Overview</h2>\n<p><strong>S:US IS AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER</strong> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Join a team of employees who care about the wellbeing of others.
