Overview Faculty Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist – Outpatient Services Kennedy Krieger Institute – Center for Developmental Behavioral Health (DBH) Location: Baltimore, MD Hiring Incentive: $10,000 Kennedy Krieger Institute’s Center for Developmental Behavioral Health is seeking clinically and academically oriented Child and Adolescent Psychiatrists to join our outpatient programs during a period of transformational growth and development. These positions offer clinical, teaching, and/or research opportunities and can be tailored to the interests and skills of promising applicants at all levels of career development. Our outpatient services support children and adolescents with and without neurodevelopmental needs through an interdisciplinary approach that integrates medical and psychotherapeutic interventions with the highest quality of evidence-based care. We are committed to trauma-informed, and family-centered care. Position Highlights Outpatient care for children and adolescents with and without neurodevelopmental conditions Collaboration within an interdisciplinary team Program development and clinical innovation opportunities Competitive compensation paired with a comprehensive benefits package Annual salary range: $198,324 to $332,609 Medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) Childcare subsidies and generous paid time off Qualified applicants will be eligible for faculty appointment at the Johns Hopkins University of Medicine as Instructor, Assistant, Associate, or full Professor, depending upon qualifications. Tuition remission for dependents at any college, plus access to coursework at Johns Hopkins and Peabody for you, your spouse, or dependents Professional growth and mentorship opportunities at a nationally recognized institution A meaningful role in training the future generation of child psychiatrists. Qualifications Board eligible / certified in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. Current or eligible for medical license in the State of Maryland Strong history of relevant clinical and/or academic training and experience Commitment to the care of children, youth, and families with neurodevelopmental disabilities and patient centered care. Clinical Areas of Expertise Our clinical team includes child and adolescent psychiatrists, psychologists, and psychiatric social workers experienced in managing developmental disabilities and psychiatric conditions across the lifespan. We have 4 service lines within our program that share infrastructure and resources as well as a psychotherapy core. These service lines include Developmental Psychiatry, Neuropsychiatry, Integrated Health and Behavior, and OCD and Tourette Syndrome.
