Description

The Enrollment Supervisor plays a critical role in managing the day-to-day operations of the Enrollment Department. This position involves supervising a team of Enrollment Specialists, ensuring the timely and accurate approval and submission of member correspondence, and managing both client relationships and internal team dynamics. The Enrollment Supervisor will focus primarily on workforce management, including training and coaching team members, addressing escalated enrollment issues, and representing the department in client interactions. This role requires a strong blend of leadership, operational management, and client service skills. In addition to leading a small group of Enrollment Specialists, the supervisor is expected to continue processing enrollment transactions as needed, particularly during high-volume periods or when resolving complex cases. Responsibilities Have a comprehensive understanding of the end-to-end enrollment process. Have the ability to manage the workload and staffing in a holistic manner to ensure compliance with regulatory and contractual requirements. Act as a liaison and escalation point for clients. Maximize use of the RAM processing platform and surround products to drive automated and efficient manual outcomes. Develop department policies and procedures, workflows, handoff processes, etc. Participation in formal training approach, timelines, etc. to onboard staff. Assess and maximize workflow capabilities. Coordinate with IT/Ops Support to ensure UAT plans, scenarios and cases align with operational processes and expected results. Assess reporting needs for responsible functions and determine how best to operationalize a metric drive approach to managing the department and client outcomes. Perform enrollment transactions regularly as a working member of the team. Workforce Management and Supervision (60%) Escalation and Issue Resolution (30%) Client Interaction and Meetings (10%) : Requirements  3-5 years in healthcare industry experience working in the enrollment and/or member premium billing segment in Medicare Advantage, Managed Medicaid or working with an industry competitor.  BPaaS experience is a plus.  MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint (MS Access is a plus). Exceptional interpersonal, listening, written and oral communication abilities are a must. Candidate must have subject matter expertise with enterprise back-office healthcare payer product solutions. Must possess strong operational management skills as well as the ability to interact directly with internal departments and clients.  Able to oversee and deliver results across multiple clients is also required. High school diploma or equivalent. Healthcare industry certifications a plus.
