    "requisitionDescription": "<div><p><br></p><p id=\"isPasted\">The position of a Transport Driver is of great significance to Valley Wide Cooperative. Drivers deliver product to area customers in a safe and timely manner. A person in this position is responsible for loading, transporting, and delivering fuels and other products needing transported. A person in this position maintains operational performance with the utmost concentration and dedication and must be well versed in the standard operating procedures of the company. <span style=\"background-color: transparent;\" id=\"isPasted\">This is a safety-sensitive position.&nbsp;</span></p><p>&nbsp;<strong><u>Over night trips may be required.</u></strong></p><p>Job Summary:</p><p>These are the <strong><u>basic requirements</u></strong> of the position and must be performed competently.</p><ul><li>Loads, secures, transports, delivers and unloads refined fuels and LP products.</li><li>Performs pre and post-trip inspections on equipment used for the transportation of hazardous materials.</li><li>Applies a thorough understanding of the technical concepts, practices and procedures of industry standards and government regulations related to testing and transporting bulk petroleum products to pipeline injection points.</li><li>Plans and accomplishes operational assignments that are varied and moderately complex to complex.</li><li>Gauges tank volumes and tests product quality and specifications of bulk petroleum products while transporting from remote locations to pipeline injection points using a class eight tractor and a tanker trailer.</li><li>Maintains the operational efficiency of vehicles by monitoring truck maintenance needs, conducting minor repairs and conducting daily DOT truck inspections to ensure maximum vehicle safety.</li><li>Maintains and completes accurate records by documenting truck inspections, hours of service, product transported, and miles driven.</li><li>Reports all accidents, spills, incidents to manager in timely manner.</li><li>Ensures that delivery vehicle receives service according to maintenance schedule; reports larger service needs and mechanical issues to supervisor.</li><li>Adhere to all commercial motor vehicle rules and regulations.</li><li>Respect customer property at all times.</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p>ESSENTIAL JOB QUALIFICATIONS/PREREQUISITES:</p><ul class=\"decimal_type\"><li>High school diploma or equivalent required.</li><li>Class A CDL license with hazmat endorsements required.</li><li>Must meet all DOT requirements.</li><li>Clean driving record 5.3+ years tractor and trailer experience in propane and/or fuel distribution business preferred.</li><li>1+ years tanker experience within the last 5 years preferred.</li><li>Ability to maintain accurate logs and records.</li><li>Ability to carry out a series of instructions with limited supervision.</li><li>Available to work outside of normal working hours as needed.</li><li>Knowledge of Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.</li><li>Must exhibit a professional and positive image.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><br></p></div>\n",
