Description

Founded in 1979 by a group of very involved, hands-on, highly regarded therapists, Children’s Therapy Center is on a mission to maximize the potential of children with disabilities. Our approach is to dismantle racism and ableism by offering collaborative, personalized, and family-centered physical, occupational, and speech therapy. We believe in the power of teamwork and offer early intervention services and multidisciplinary, play-based, and child-led early childhood special education. Children’s Therapy Center is seeking a part-time Early Support (ESIT) Feeding Specialist to serve children birth-to 3-years old, and their families in South King and Pierce Counties. This role is for a licensed SLP, OT, or PT with proven experience in infant feeding. Our ESIT Feeding Specialist will work both in-person and remotely, partnering with our Early Support teams to provide feeding consultations and support across individual caseloads and the broader ESIT program. Our ideal candidate is skilled in addressing feeding challenges related to oral-motor skills, gross motor development, medical needs, nutrition, sensory processing, and mealtime behaviors. Our candidate also has experience in parent coaching, play-based therapy, and supporting children with developmental delays or disabilities. In addition to direct services, this role will help build feeding support across the organization by offering coaching and contributing to skill development.
