    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><span><strong>Job Summary</strong></span></p><p><strong>This position is located at Bristol Family Medicine.</strong></p><p><span>Responsible to the Medical Director for the management/oversight of the clinical staff and clinical area. Serves as a vital team member within the Patient Centered Medical Home; develops clinical policies and procedures in cooperation with Medical Director and/or designee; provides patient care; supervises clinical staff; evaluates patient flow and makes recommendations; maintains equipment and medical supplies; serves as coordinator for&nbsp;</span>OSHA, Building Coordinator/Assistant Building Coordinator,&nbsp;CLIA&nbsp;waived Point of Care Lab, Vaccines for Children and other state/ federal programs as needed; serves as super-user for electronic health records; and, performs other related administrative duties as assigned.</p><p><span><strong>Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities</strong></span></p><ul><li><span>Ability to fulfill all the expectations of the RN Scope of Practice.</span></li><li><span>Knowledge of state institution procedures. Knowledge of health care insurance, including private insurance, Medicare, and TennCare.</span></li><li><span>Ability to communicate professionally and effectively within a diverse clinical setting (patients, staff, residents, physicians,&nbsp;ETSU&nbsp;departments, community agencies, etc.).</span></li><li><span>Ability to analyze, revise, and develop nursing policies and procedures.</span></li><li><span>Ability to effectively supervise clinical staff, including the ability to complete performance evaluations, train employees, solve staffing shortage challenges, manage leave requests, provide coaching/mentoring/discipline, handle conflict, and offer solutions, etc..</span></li><li><span>Ability to coordinate, analyze, and synthesize data.</span></li><li><span>Ability to present training in a clear, concise manner; ability to evaluate training outcomes and make adjustments as necessary.</span></li><li><span>Ability to exercise good judgment in evaluating situations and making decisions, both in daily scenarios and in emergency situations.</span></li><li><span>Ability to handle confidential information appropriately, maintaining compliance with&nbsp;HIPAA&nbsp;regulations.
