This includes but is not limited to:&nbsp;<ul style=\"list-style-type: circle; font-family: initial; font-size: initial; color: initial;\"><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Evaluating activities (and their scope) being performed and planned.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Evaluating the risks (safety, mission impacts, security, etc.) associated with activities.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Evaluating the level of existing federal oversight and its associated infrastructure (plans, procedures, and training and qualification of staff).</li></ul></li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Assist in preparing or revising field element policies and in implementing procedures that are consistent with DOE O 226.1B of comparably effective criteria established by the responsible program office.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Provide oversight of following Safety, Health &amp; Quality (SH&amp;Q) Programs (including all implementing policies, procedures, and instructions) including, but not limited to:<ul style=\"list-style-type: circle; font-size: 16px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Support the field site with the development of short- and long-range oversight plans and schedules which account for all aspects of filed sites oversight activities, ensuring that applicable requirements/regulations are adequately addressed in the schedule.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Provide implementation support and oversight of maintenance, industrial hygiene, occupational health, and safety programs to identify and mitigate hazards in the workplace.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Develop, recommend and implement related programs, policies, and procedures for monitoring and preventing chemical, physical, and biological hazards to prevent illness, injury and safety hazards in the work environment.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Develop and establish appropriate sampling and monitoring procedures and guidelines and provide guidance in interpreting and monitoring compliance with governmental regulations and industry/company work practices.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Resolve technical, industrial hygiene and safety issues.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Develop, implement and provide oversight of occupational health and industrial safety programs for facilities.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Develop and implement an assessment program to ensure compliance by all employees and contractor employees to the respective programs.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Ensure compliance with all applicable policies and governmental laws, rules and regulations including but not limited to the DOE, OSHA and NRC rules and regulations.</li></ul><p><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in a technical field such as Engineering and certification in one or more of the following:<ul style=\"list-style-type: circle; font-family: initial; font-size: initial; color: initial;\"><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Certified Safety Professional.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Certified Industrial Hygienist.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Senior Technical Safety Manager, or equivalent.</li></ul></li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Must have DOE and/or NRC experience in waste management, Heavy Equipment, D&amp;D and/or soil and groundwater remediation project experience and/or nuclear facility experience.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">5 years of direct experience in safety management (ISM), occupational safety program implementation and oversight, and nuclear safety programs.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif;
