At Sally's Apizza we have been creating New Haven Style Apizza since 1938 and are now expanding to locations across the United States. Famous for our distinctive tomato sauce and chewy, crispy crust with an iconic oven-kissed char, Sally’s draws pizza fans from around the world. We hand-craft authentic pizza in custom-designed ovens, using the original recipes. Sally’s mission is to make great pizza available to everyone.
As the Pizza Cook you will….
Preparing high-quality pizzas. Handling multiple food orders at one time. Ability to manage others and work on a team. Put pizzas in the oven and keep a check on the fire. Replacing cheeses, sauce, and toppings containers to ensure freshness. Label and stock all ingredients on shelves so they can be organized and easily accessible. Measure ingredients and seasonings to be used in cooking. Prepare cooking ingredients by washing and chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and other meal prep. Set up workstations and ingredients so that food can be prepared according to recipes. Ensure that all food and other items are stored properly. Complete opening and closing checklists. Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation area in all areas of the prep kitchen. This Job Is Ideal for Someone Who Is:
