    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><p><strong><span style=\"font-size: 16px; font-family: arial, sans-serif;\">About Siegfried</span></strong></p><p data-pasted=\"true\"><span style=\"font-size: 14px; font-family: arial, sans-serif;\">Siegfried has immediate openings for a <strong>Geotechnical Lab and Field</strong><strong>&nbsp;Supervisor</strong> operating out of our Sacramento office.</span></p><hr><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px; font-family: arial, sans-serif;\"><strong>Position Summary&nbsp;</strong></span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 14px; font-family: arial, sans-serif;\">This role is responsible for overseeing both field and laboratory operations to support geotechnical engineering and construction services. The ideal candidate will ensure high-quality data collection, reporting, and coordination across field technicians, laboratory staff, and project teams. This person will report to the Geotechnical Department Principal.&nbsp;</span></p><hr><p><span style=\"font-family: arial,sans-serif;\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">What You&#39;ll Do</span></strong></span></p><p><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">In general, the duties of this position consist of, but are not limited to, the following tasks:</span></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"font-size: 14px; font-family: arial, sans-serif;\">Provide oversight and direction to field technicians and inspectors</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px; font-family: arial, sans-serif;\">Review, compile, and submit daily field reports to construction teams*</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px; font-family: arial, sans-serif;\">Serve as the first point of contact for field-related inquiries*</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px; font-family: arial, sans-serif;\">Visit project sites as needed to verify subsurface and surface conditions*</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px; font-family: arial, sans-serif;\">Prepare completion reports for client submittals&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px; font-family: arial, sans-serif;\">Prepare grading letters for review by the Geotechnical Engineer of Record (GEOR)*</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px; font-family: arial, sans-serif;\">Perform duties associated with Radiation Safety Officer (RSO), including monitoring and tracking nuclear gauge usage</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px; font-family: arial, sans-serif;\">Supervise laboratory technicians and ensure appropriate staffing levels to meet workload demands&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px; font-family: arial, sans-serif;\">Schedule laboratory testing and oversee data entry and report review *Data entry and review laboratory test reports*</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px; font-family: arial, sans-serif;\">Compile laboratory test reports for submittal in completion reports or geotechnical reports*</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px; font-family: arial, sans-serif;\">Maintain and update the Quality Systems Manual in coordination with the Engineering Manager&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px; font-family: arial, sans-serif;\">Ensure laboratory calibrations, certifications, and regulatory compliance are current</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px; font-family: arial, sans-serif;\">Coordinate with regulatory agencies for laboratory accreditation and evaluations</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px; font-family: arial, sans-serif;\">Prepare and submit daily reports documenting observations, testing, and sampling within one business day of field activities*</li></ul><p><span style=\"font-size: 14px; font-family: arial, sans-serif;\"><em>*Indicates work that requires utilization (approximately 90 percent of working time)</em><strong>&nbsp;</strong></span></p><hr><p><span style=\"font-family: arial,sans-serif;\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">What We&#39;re Looking For</span></strong></span></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"font-size: 14px; font-family: arial, sans-serif;\">ICC Soils Special Inspector &amp; ACI Aggregate Base Testing Technician certifications preferred or expected to apply for certifications withing one year of hire.</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px; font-family: arial, sans-serif;\">Nuclear gauge certification and Radiation Safety training (e.g., APNGA) required; training will be provided&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px; font-family: arial, sans-serif;\">Strong ability to work independently while collaborating with the Engineering Manager&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px; font-family: arial, sans-serif;\">Ability to analyze and interpret laboratory test results.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px; font-family: arial, sans-serif;\">Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Teams)&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px; font-family: arial, sans-serif;\">Strong written and verbal communication skills with clients, technical staff, and internal teams</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px; font-family: arial, sans-serif;\">Capacity to lift up to 50 pounds (samples or lab/field testing equipment)<strong>&nbsp;</strong></li></ul><hr><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px; font-family: arial, sans-serif;\"><strong>Experience</strong></span></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"font-size: 14px; font-family: arial, sans-serif;\">Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in civil engineering <strong>and/or</strong>&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px; font-family: arial, sans-serif;\">Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in geotechnical laboratory or field testing.</li></ul><hr><p><span style=\"font-family: arial,sans-serif;\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Why Join Siegfried?</span></strong></span></p><ul type=\"disc\" data-pasted=\"true\"><li style=\"margin-left: 0in; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">We believe that a healthy team is a strong team.
