  "BriefDescription": "Summit Medical Group is seeking a PreVisit Planning Coder to join their team. This is a full-time opportunity. Under the direction of the Risk Adjustment Manager, the PreVisit Planning Coder performs a comprehensive review of the medical record prior to scheduled visits. In compliance with Official Coding Guidelines in ICD-10-CM and PT coding conventions, identifies conditions that may be applicable or assessed by a specialist but not yet incorporated in the primary care provider’s Active Problem List and identifies gaps in preventive services. Clinical knowledge and high-level analytical skills are utilized to support appropriate code assignment for accuracy of risk score based on provider documentation and the requirements of CMS for risk adjustment data validation and reporting.",
