Come join our team!</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Plans details of work order procedures; gathers required tools and materials based on instructions and specifications provided for the job.</li>\n <li>Repairs and fabricates various items and equipment using cutting, burning, and welding techniques and equipment.</li>\n <li>Obey all safety rules</li>\n <li>Monitors the welding, burning, and fitting process to ensure parts are not overheated or damaged by warping, distortion, expansion, or shrinkage.</li>\n <li>Prepares, assembles, and tacks weld parts and surfaces to be welded.</li>\n <li>Maintains, organizes, and cleans equipment and the work area.</li>\n <li>Notifies supervisor when faulty equipment or defective materials are discovered.</li>\n <li>Operate cranes to pull and move material.</li>\n <li>Identify materials for proper size grade and heat numbers.</li>\n <li>Measure material to be cut/welded.</li>\n <li>Communicate with management any issues within the department.</li>\n <li>Housekeeping: General clean-up of warehouse and work area.</li>\n <li>Participate in continuous improvement and monthly safety meetings.</li>\n <li>Complete paperwork.</li>\n <li>Performs other related duties as assigned.  </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Education and Experience:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Prefer High School Diploma or equivalent, but not necessary</li>\n <li>Completion of a formal apprenticeship </li>\n <li>On-site testing and training program required. </li>\n <li>Visual Aesthetics</li>\n <li>Minimum 3yrs experience</li>\n <li>Able to read a tape measure</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Knowledge/Skills/Competencies:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Thorough understanding of machines and tools used in welding including designs, uses, maintenance, and repair.</li>\n <li>Basic understanding of design techniques, principles, and tools necessary for the precise production of technical plans, drawings, models, and blueprints.</li>\n <li>Excellent ability to read and listen to assignments given in a variety of forms.</li>\n <li>Basic understanding of mathematics as related to welding assignments.</li>\n</ul>",
