You will also perform required testing done in the sterile processing unit and accurately document the results in order to ensure that all instruments and equipment are compliant with sterility regulations. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment will help to ensure your success in this role.</span></p><p><span style=\"font-family: arial,sans-serif;\"><strong>&nbsp;</strong></span></p><p><span style=\"font-family: arial,sans-serif;\"><strong><span style=\"color: rgb(15, 92, 153); font-size: 16px;\">Essential Responsibilities</span></strong></span></p><ul><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: 14px;\">Sterilize all surgical instruments needed for procedures in a timely manner.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: 14px;\">Package and prep instruments for sterilization according to count sheets.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: 14px;\">Write new tray lists and maintain accuracy of current ones.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: 14px;\">Inspect all instruments for good working condition.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: 14px;\">Check and replace damaged instruments. Update OR and Materials Managers of any instruments that are not available for use.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: 14px;\">Inventory stock and non-stock supplies and implants. Maintain the appropriate par levels and orders while adhering to cost containment practices.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: 14px;\">Maintain proper storage of sterilized instruments.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: 14px;\">Clean autoclave according to established standards.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: 14px;\">Monitor biologicals on autoclaves and document the results properly.
