AWC Water Solutions Ltd. specializes in providing integrated water, wastewater treatment plants and many other specialized industrial packaged solutions. We offer clients advanced in house engineering & design with 3D modeling, piloting, fabrication and machining, in house control panel shop, and a full range of field services, allowing us to provide turn key solutions. In our busy industry, we consistently manage a strong and steady backlog of work extending well beyond a year, which ensures a secure and reliable workflow.
We are seeking a qualified junior panel technician to fill a permanent full time position in our CSA certified Electrical Panel Shop. The successful candidate must be a team player and have technical experience in industrial electrical and control wiring. The candidate must also have a great attention to detail and the ability to identify and solve potential problems.

Duties and responsibilities:
Assemble custom control panels
Wire control panels following a basic set of electrical schematics
Review bill of materials for accuracy and flag any errors immediately
Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a high standard of conduct in the shop.
Input weekly timesheets accurately and in a timely manner.
Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
Occasional field site work and associated travel as required
Other assigned duties as required
Requirements
Education:
High School diploma or equivalent
Experience:
Basic understanding of hand and power tools
